8 Steps to Boost Adsense Revenue

After proper ad placement like:

1.Custom H1 tags on every page (search engines love this)
2.Custom Title Tags, Meta Description and Meta Keywords on EVERY page. Your site is not optimized without this!
3.High click-through positioning and maximum number of AdSense ads on each and every page.
3.You can also use Yahoo Publisher Network ads, AdBrite, FastClick or even affiliate ads on your pages if you are not an AdSense publisher.
4.RSS feeds on every page for fresh, unique content daily, with a script that doesn’t let the search engines know you are linking to an external site.
5.Short descriptions and links to more articles on every page, plus RSS feeds to defeat duplicate content filters. If you don’t have this, you will never be found in search engines.
6.Every page has different links to more articles, keeping each page fresh, and keeping visitors and search engine spiders hooked.
7.Static File Names such as 1234.php, rather than dynamic URL’s, helping each page get spidered easily by search engines.
8.Complete Site Map to guarantee that search engines index all of your pages easily.

Warning - AdSense Exchange Services!

If you’re using AdSense on your webpages it’s very
tempting to try to make more revenue by using online
services, that increases the number of clicks on your
ads - “You click on my AdSense ads and I’ll click on
your ads”

I’m referring to services like www.adsense-xchange.com,
www.clickmogul.com and other similar services.

DO NOT use these services if plan you on keeping your
AdSense account for a long time. It’s the most effective
way to get your AdSense account closed forever!

Google will track the clicks coming from these services
and after a while send you an email - “AdSense account
closed because of click fraud”. I was very lucky and just
got a “friendly” reminder from Google that they’ve spotted
some traffic from one of these sites.

Even other PPC services like www.revenuepilot.com etc. are getting
smarter. They might not close your account but simply drop
you click values from maybe $1 a click to $0.05 a click if
they detect that your visitors are more interesting in
clicking the ads than reading the webpage. That happened to me!

Sorry, there’s no fast and easy way to make money with AdSense. Stick to the methods that works long time:

- Build niche sites or blogs with content

Fast guide to your first 50 adsense sites

You’ll find all kinds of info about adsense and website and how rich you will become by buying that super earning adsense site from ebay. Here is a short no bull**** guide on getting started with adsense:

1. Get some hosting.

resellerzoom.com will host up to 50 sites for $5 per month. They are one of the few cheap hosting providers I recommend. They are not bad but not too good either.

2. Get domains.

Registerfly.com will give you .info domains for around $1.50 if you order 50 at once. That comes to around $75.

3. Get RSSGM.

RSSGM is a free website generator. http://sourceforge.net/projects/rssgm

4. Make a site to apply to adsense

Set up a wordpress blog through cpanel on one domain and make 3-5 posts about something. Don’t use RSSGM on this site.

5. Apply for Adsense

Apply for adsense with the previous site. www.google.com/adsense

6. Make Keyword lists.

You will need one keyword list for each site (RSSGM will make one page for each keyword). Some free tools to make lists:

http://inventory.overture.com/
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/
http://www.goodkeywords.com/
http://www.thedowser.com/

Don’t choose the most competitive markets for your first sites. Avoid pharmacy, gambling, credit &finance, legal etc.

7. Make sites with RSSGM

Learn how to use RSSGM and use up the 50 domains you bought.

8. Get links to your sites

You need to point links to your sites to get them indexed by the search engines and get visitors to go clicky on your adsense ads.

Get DITY. http://www.onlinehoster.com/scripts.php (free)
Make Blogger blogs and use these 2 free tools to blog n ping. http://cflwaves.com/projects/

9. You are done.

Depending on how many (and what kind of) links you point to your sites and the keywords you choose, you might be soon getting a nice $0.50-$1 per day per site ($750-$1500 per month) or more. You might make $5 per day per site ($7500 per month, kinda unrealistic). Who knows? You might not make anything.

Total cost per 50 sites: $75 for domains. $5 per month for hosting.

Taking Free Paid Surveys Online

Free Paid Surveys, Get Paid To Take Surveys, Take Online Surveys for CASH!

More than likely you have seen ads like these all over the internet. And like most people you are probably wondering if they are true. Can you really get paid to take surveys online? Or is paid surveys just another scam? Surprisingly, the answer is yes. You can actually get paid to take surveys online.

There are many companies that will pay you to participate in online surveys, focus groups, and even product tests. These are market research companies that are paid by large companies to find out what the public feels about their products. They want to know if their advertising camppagns are working and how everyday people feel about their products. Large corporations spend billions of dollars a year on advertising. So to pay you a few dollars to find out if their advertising is working is not that big of a deal. So they hire these market research companies. And the market research companies send out surveys to everyday people to find out what the public is thinking.

There are also several misconceptions about taking paid surveys online. Many advertisements will tell you that you can make up to $250 an hour taking paid surveys. Although it is possible to be compensated $250 for participating in an important study or focus group, the average paid survey will pay you between $2 and $20.

There are also a few different kinds of paid survey sites. There are paid survey directories, or databases, and there are the actual paid survey companies. A paid survey, or market research company, is the actual company that will send you the paid surveys. And also the one that will compensate you for your participation. An example of a paid survey company is NFO My Survey. NFO has been around for over 20 years and is one of the major paid survey companies on the internet. When joining a paid survey site like NFO you are notified by email when your participation in a paid survey is needed. You can then choose to take the paid survey or simply ignore it. You are told how much you will be paid for taking each survey and how long the paid survey should take to complete. Companies like NFO My Survey are always free to join. A legitimate paid survey company will never ask you to pay a fee to join.

Another type of site is a paid survey directory, or database. Paid survey databases provide directories of paid survey companies. These are the sites you go to to find companies that will pay you to participate in online surveys. There are several databases you can join. But most online paid survey databases are not free. A site like SurveyScout charges about $35 for their directory of 490 paid survey companies. Others charge anywhere from $20 to $60 to access their paid surveys directory. Many people are fooled into thinking that when they join these membership sites they will automatically start receiving paid surveys. A membership site like SurveyScout does not actually send paid surveys. they are only a directory of companies that you join that send paid surveys online.

Before you spend $35 dollars for a paid survey database do some looking around. A good paid survey directory will have everything you would find in a paid membership site and is absolutely free. There is no need to pay to find paid surveys. In fact, why would you want to pay for free information? Paid membership sites are simply taking advantage of the fact that most people don't know where to look for this type of information. And once they pay and then find out that they paid for a directory, most people feel like they have been scammed. My advice would be to bypass a paid directory. And use a free paid survey directory.

If you are looking for a full-time income online, paid surveys may not be the thing for you. Although you can make some good money taking paid surveys online, more than likely it will not be enough to make you rich. On the other hand, if you want to make some extra money without much effort then paid surveys is the way to go.

The key to getting paid to take surveys online is joining as many of these paid survey companies as possible. Most paid survey sites will only send a few paid surveys a month.

So the logic is, the more paid survey companies you belong to the more paid survey invitations you will receive. And the more money you will make. I'ts a good idea to start off with around 10 to 20 good paid survey companies. Each one will only take a few minutes to sign up for and is well worth it. There are around 500 paid survey companies you can join. And once you have joined the main ones you can go back and join others to receive even more paid surveys. Of 500 paid survey companies I would have to say that there are about 50 that will send you paid surveys on a regular basis. The rest may only send one a month or even less. So starting with the top paid surveys is obviously the best way to go.

You must answer a few screener questions before taking a survey to see if you fit the profile for the type of person the company is interested in. After taking a few screeners you can start to see how you should answer to make yourself qualify. for instance, most paid survey screeners will ask you if you work in a certain industry, or any type of market research or advertising business. The answer to a question like this should almost always be no. They do not want people who know the market research business taking their surveys. And you will almost always not qualify for the paid survey.

Well now that you have all the information you need it's up to you to decide if paid surveys is for you or not. If you are interested in paid surveys I highly reccommend NFO My Survey, Global Test Market, Survey Savvy, Survey Spot, E-Poll, ECN Research, Lightspeed Research, American Consumer opinion, Test Spin,GoZing surveys, Greenfield Online, and Opinion Outpost. There several more great paid survey sites. These are just my personal favorites.

Google Ad Positioning

Positioning:

You need to add your Adsense links right in the heart of your template or right in the heart of your content.

Link Units:

Since the introduction of Google Adsense "link units", we can now add what looks like a "menu system" to compliment our menu system within our website. This is HUGE. Have you ever just clicked on a website and kept clicking on the menu links? I know we all have. By adding a "Google link units" to your menu, you will get more clicks than you thought possible. Try adding the link units near the top for better performance and try creating your link units to match the color of your menu system in place. Once in a while I find myself clicking on a menu link unit without even realizing it which in turn gives more money to the website owner.

Leaderboards & Skyscrapers:

These may very well be your "bread & butter". I only say this because of the sheer size of these ads units. The best place to add these ad units is obvious; Straight across the very top of your website (leaderboards), and straight down the side of your template (skyscrapers). Anywhere else may not look proper within your template and may look unprofessional.

Square & Rectangle Ad Units:

These are great to compliment the mass amount of content within your website and also within your recommended resources. You want to compliment your content, you don't want Adsense to BE your content because this will look poor on your part. Square and rectangular units are great to use within articles posted on your website or within your link resources. Try adding your Adsense boxes above your resource links within a page to give your Adsense account that added extra exposure.

Go for text ads instead of image ads

A text ad offers many advantages over image ads:

With the right formatting, a text ad 'blends in' with your site content. An image ad will not give you the same freedom with its appearance, as the only thing you can play with is the size and positioning

You can squeeze more text ads into the space that a conventional banner takes. People love to have more choices!

Properly formatted text ads don't look like clutter. Banners do!

People hate banners and avoid them at sight. Many tests confirm that people are much more receptive to text ads related with your content

Design your website to Highlight adsense

I once went to a fashion show where each model wore the exact same black outfit for the entire duration of the show. Boring? Hardly! The show was intended to showcase platinum jewelry, and the outfits were designed to enhance the jewelry - instead of distracting the audience.

Many websites have strong graphic elements that catch the eye - usually at the expense of the Adsense units.

If you're using Adsense, be judicious in the selection of fonts, font size, color, images, tables and other visual aspects of your website.

Draw subtle attention to your Adsense units. Make them the stars of your show!

Draw subtle attention to your Adsense units. Make them the stars of your show!

Avoid non-English characters on English pages

Try to use only English language in your web pages. This helps you to get more relevant ads to your web pages.

Else If you are adding some other languages to your web pages try to add English language content also along with that

Check your keyword density

Although Google doesn't release exact details as to how they determine the ads to serve on a given page, they do tell us that it's the text content of the page that matters, not the meta tags. Before serving ads on a page, then, you might want to check its keyword density. A good, free tool for doing this is found here:

Click here for High Paying Keywords in Google Adsense

This lets you fine-tune the page before exposing it to the AdSense crawler.

When you add keywords to your web pages make sure that it's all related to your page content. Don't keep on adding use less keyword to your web pages

Check your Title of each pages

If you see the results in each search in search engines you can see how important is the page titles, According to my experience in web I suggest you to giving good and relevant title to your pages is very important to get relevant google ads and to place you first in search engines. So this is a serious matter

Google Ad Formats: "Dress" your ads for success!

How would you like your ads served? Banners? Skyscrapers? Rectangles? Squares? What about borders and background colors?

The choices can be overwhelming. Many people let Google decide for them preferring to stock with the default settings. Big mistake! From my own experience I can tell you that it's like swapping a hundred-dollar bill for a ten-dollar one

Ads with out boarder works better than ads with boarders. So don't place boarder for any google ads on your page.

Always try to match the Ad to your content of your website. The Ad should look like as if they are part of content.

The visitors don't like banners or Ads. They hate ads. Because of this reason you should match the Google Ad to your content of each page/Website. (Use same colors, backgrounds ect..)

After this you can See your CTR Growing drastically

Don't be afraid to ask questions to Google Adsense Support team

If you're wondering about something, don't be afraid to ask Google. So far, they've always responded to my questions within a working day. There are two email addresses to use, depending on the type of question:

Please feel free to email them at adsense-tech@google.com if you have additional technical questions or concerns. For general program or account questions, please email adsense-support@google.com.

How to make more out of Adsense

In this article you will find hands-on solutions to many of the concerns and challenges faced by the content publishers in their quest to attract targeted traffic, improve content relevance and increase responsiveness to Adsense ads, using easy and legitimate techniques that have worked for me and many others.

Google wants a slice of your traffic. And they're willing to pay big bucks!

Adsense doesn't give you a lot of control over which ads are served, how the ads are rotated or what each click is worth. That's a good thing, because it's hands-free income

Getting started with Goolge Adsense is as Easy as 1-2-3!

  • By Tweaking the Ads to make them more appealing to your visitors
  • By Optimizing your Website for better Adsense targeting.
  • Tracking Visitor Response: See What your visitors are looking for or what makes them "click" on each goolge ads. Once you've figured that out, You're on your way to big Adsense Bucks!

But it isn't as straightforward as it seems. If it were, there wouldn't be so many grumpy people on Adsense forums, complaining about their low Assense earnings

It's not that they aren't doing anything about it. They simply aren't doing the right things.
